Intermain Melbourne Going from Strength to Strength

Intermain Melbourne is starting the new financial year in their recently refurbished ground floor office at 18 Oliver Lane. ‘Located on the fringe of Melbourne’s vibrant East End, our clients now have their favourite construction partner on their CBD doorstep to support seamless collaboration on projects’ says Andrew Johnson, Intermain’s CEO. ‘With the majority of our clients based in, or close to, Melbourne’s CBD, it just made sense with our client-centric approach, to make 18 Oliver Lane our permanent home’.

The new office marks a major milestone for the Melbourne team. Having launched just 6 years ago in Victoria, Intermain has gone from strength-to-strength in the region delivering over 200 projects for a wide range of commercial, government, healthcare, industrial and educational clients.

‘A lot of Melbourne clients know us for our speculative suites as they’re renowned for leasing quickly, especially during the last few unprecedented years. However, many don’t know just how extensive our experience and capabilities are in repositioning B & C grade assets through refurbishments of ground floor lobbies, end-of-trip facilities, rooftops, and amenities – all of which we have compelling experience across many sectors including commercial, hospitality, industrial, education, government and retail’ says Eve Stambolis, Client Relationship Manager for Melbourne and Adelaide. ‘Intermain have been operating for over 20 years in NSW where they have dominated in the commercial refurbishment sector and have an impressive joinery manufacturing facility in Sydney’s east that supports our nationwide operations’.

Intermain has been able to springboard off the success in NSW to launch into Victoria, ACT and South Australia in recent years, and unlike other refurbishment construction companies, Intermain offers complete assurity across the entire supply chain from design, construction, refurbishment, fitout and joinery. Not to mention, the value engineering that clients gain from design, procurement and estimating being under one roof. ‘With Intermain’s capabilities, clients get to deliver their design intent at the very best value possible without compromising on quality’ says Andrew Johnson.

Versatility is also another benefit Intermain clients enjoy. Whether designed by Intermain, or other design experts, clients can pick and choose how they want to partner with Intermain.  ‘In many cases, we’ve worked alongside architects as their delivery partners, and builders as their joinery partners. Basically, we’re one partner for all types of refurbishment and fitout delivery models, and we’re looking forward to bringing more of these benefits to our Melbourne clients from our brand-new conveniently-situated office’ says Eve Stambolis.
