Intermain’s smart solution offers a workplace that is engaging for Reward Gateway’s staff, encourages social interaction and communication, inspires creativity and gives people complete flexibility to choose where they work depending on the task at hand.
It took a highly innovative approach and meticulous space planning to realise the company’s extensive wish list within a relatively small 275 square metre foot plate.

Intermain maximised the space to incorporate a boardroom, a 50-person presentation space, numerous meeting rooms, a central social hub space, a studio recording room, locker room, storage space as well as agile working areas for 24 staff. We were also able to build flexibility into the scheme to allow for future employee growth up to 40 staff.
Fun, inventive touches included a quirky garden room, complete with a ‘living wall’ and accessed via a secret door and a central kitchen space that evoked the character of an Australian pub bar using traditional subway tiles and neon lighting.
Complex elements of the design, including a curved bulk-head above the reception desk, were delivered to a flawless standard by our in-house joinery team. Other smart solutions included exposing services to overcome the otherwise lack of ceiling space and the mounting of cutting edge curved tv screens on the curved reception wall to spectacular effect.
