Strategic reuse and resource-conscious design
Returning to the premium grade commercial tower, this 4,500sqm office refurbishment transformed four floors (Levels 22, 41, 44 and 45) into high-quality speculative suites. Delivered on a fast-tracked programme, the commercial fitout was designed to elevate tenant appeal, future-proof the asset and drive long-term value for one of the CBD’s most prominent addresses.
Navigating complexity across multiple floors
The scope of work was broad and detailed, including amenities, bathrooms, breakout areas, HVAC, lighting, kitchens, and specialty finishes. Coordination was critical, especially with multiple builders working across more than 13 levels of the building at the same time. Despite the complexity, the team delivered a cohesive result that met the client’s brief and enhanced the building’s appeal.
Future-ready suites with long-term value
Architectural input came from Hot Black for Level 22, and Davenport Campbell for the upper floors, giving each space a distinct yet complementary feel. The final result is a modern, functional workplace that balances style, sustainability, and usability, ready to welcome tenants and support future growth. Intermain Melbourne is proud to have completed these additional floors at 80 Collins Street, contuining the partnership with Dexus.
