The long space has cleverly been broken into zones for various social dynamics, including group dining, lounging, quiet contemplation and private chats. Materials have been chosen for cleanliness and durability whilst balancing aesthetics and affordability, and finishes include concrete, inlay carpet, terrazzo tiles, bronzed metals, luxurious velvets and leathers and bespoke joinery pieces, crafted by our inhouse Joinery department.
Working within an operational building presented logistical challenges which Intermain’s site team expertly navigated by prioritising the safety of occupants whilst managing noise, debris, and adhering to strict timelines to minimise disruption. A phased approach was implemented, scheduling work during off-peak hours and collaborating closely with building management to ensure a smooth and efficient project completion.
In addition to the fitout, Intermain installed a new glass revolving door to the building and revitalised the floor and wall finishes, lighting, and signage. We faced the challenge of installing the revolving door’s steel framework within an existing structure, aiming to minimise disruption for the building’s occupants. This process required precise measurements, thorough structural assessments, and meticulous coordination with various trades to ensure a seamless integration into the current space.
