Bespoke hospitality joinery for Sydney’s first 25hours Hotel, shaping a premium accommodation experience

Intermain was engaged by Richard Crookes Construction to deliver a bespoke hotel joinery package for Australia’s first 25hours Hotel, part of the Accor Group portfolio. The project brings together multiple dining and entertainment spaces, creating a layered and design-led destination within a landmark Oxford Street address.

Intermain custom hospitality joinery package with scope focused on locally crafted joinery, delivery and installation for key front- and back-of-house environments. This included the lobby and reception, Mulwray Bar, Palomar Bar and Restaurant, Odeon cinema, amenities, café, retail specialty finishes as well as staff areas.

Working closely with the client and stakeholders, Intermain’s joinery supports the broader design vision while meeting the demands of a high-performing hotel environment.

Delivery within a complex hotel and accommodation environment

Delivered within a constrained, active site, the works required careful coordination, sequencing and material handling. Intermain collaborated closely with the project team to ensure seamless integration of joinery across multiple venues and stages.

Each space presented distinct requirements, from high-traffic bar and restaurant settings to guest-facing hotel areas. A consistent approach to quality and detailing ensured the joinery performs reliably across all environments, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term use.

Local Australian joinery for a premium international hotel

In collaboration with designers, the joinery realises a highly detailed and design-led outcome. A refined material palette combines hardwood, veneer and custom metalwork, contributing to the layered character of each space.

Bar environments, including The Mulwray, required a high level of integration, with storage and service elements seamlessly incorporated into the joinery. Across the hotel, each piece is carefully resolved to balance visual impact with functionality.

Designed for durability and longevity, the joinery is tailored to the demands of a busy hospitality and accommodation setting, while maintaining a consistent, premium finish throughout.
