Project scope
The project scope included a full upgrade of the lobby and amenities across all floors, the design and delivery of two speculative suites on Level 1, a staircase refurbishment, and the external re-cladding of entry columns. The result is a cohesive transformation that enhances both the interior experience and the building’s street presence. The new lobby design offers a contemporary and welcoming arrival point, while the re-clad entry columns provide a bold, refreshed façade.
Flexible, light-filled design
Intermain’s design team created flexible speculative suites with open layouts that maximise natural light and minimise built structures along the perimeter. A soft corporate palette of greens, blues and light timber tones is carried throughout, complemented by custom joinery, acoustic hush screens and feature tiling to create a polished, professional environment.
The suites were designed with collaboration in mind, incorporating breakout zones, kitchen facilities and meeting spaces to support a variety of working styles.
Overcoming challenges
The project navigated challenges including an unexpected fire services upgrade and a mid-project change of use on the ground floor. Intermain supported the client through regulatory processes and also delivered a separate fitout for the incoming tenant.
A proven approach to commercial repositioning
This project demonstrates Intermain’s ability to deliver fast, high-quality repositioning works that align with commercial goals and elevate tenant appeal. From design through to delivery, the result is a transformed workplace that positions 15 Vaughan Street for long-term success in the market.
