Intermain’s inhouse design team masterfully crafted the floorplan to meet all client requirements while maximising natural light and capturing stunning Yarra River glimpses from the eastern side of the building. The design features a light-filled open-plan workspace with height-adjustable workstations and breakout areas by the windows. Curved walls soften the main corridor, leading to private call rooms and meeting rooms tucked along the central core for added privacy. The breakout area includes booth seating and a large island bench, providing ample space for collaboration and relaxation.
A highlight of this stylish fitout is the custom-built reception counter, whose deep tones and terrazzo-look texture set a warm, welcoming tone upon entering the space. The design reflects Intermain’s commitment to contemporary aesthetics, featuring bold colours and unique flooring details. Dramatic dark feature ceilings in the front-of-house area are balanced by softer materials and colours used in the furniture and finishes further into the space, creating a harmonious and inviting environment.
Delivering this project to a tight schedule, despite the challenge of working around an occupied tenancy on the same floor, Intermain has demonstrated its dedication to quality and flexibility. This speculative suite not only showcases Intermain’s expertise in creating modern, functional workspaces but also ensures that the space can effortlessly adapt to the future tenant’s needs.
