Intermain’s Sydney Headquarters Wins a 2024 INDE.Award!

Co-created with BVN, Intermain has won the Work Space category at the 2024 INDE.Awards, presented by Indesign Media Asia Pacific!

Our Sydney workspace is a shining example of our commitment to innovative and sustainable workplace design. By partnering with BVN, we’ve seamlessly blended a vibrant office environment with our joinery factory, embodying our shared passion for sustainability and cutting-edge workplace solutions.

What Makes This Project Special?

• Together, we’ve reimagined a traditional industrial shed and adjacent office area into a cohesive and functional workspace. This transformation bridges the gap between old and new, creating a space that is both practical and inspiring.
• A standout feature of our new headquarters is the series of two-storey timber pods. These pods house a variety of essential amenities, including meeting rooms, our sample library, a tool shed and joinery design studio.
• The pods are designed to be flexible and versatile, catering to both private and collaborative needs. They provide the perfect environment for fostering idea-sharing and creativity among our team members.
• One of the unique aspects of the design is the placement of the pods, which offer glimpses into our factory below. This layout not only highlights our in-house joinery manufacturing capabilities but also integrates the factory’s energy into the office space.
