With extensive knowledge of Industrial refurbishments and the local area, Hendra QLD, Stockland, looked to Intermain for the D&C delivery of Stockland Hendra Industrial Estate.

The project involved a complete design and refurbishment, including minor construction of two industrial warehouses and surrounding areas.

Scope of works involved asbestos removal, demolition, façade upgrade, roof and wall-cladding, new amenities and integrated fitout for tenants, CSR.

The CSR fitout consisted of a showroom on the ground floor and workspace on the adjoining level above. Additionally, Intermain installed CSR products as a feature on the façade of their warehouse and office to compliment their brand identity.

Challenges

Our project team faced a tight programme; however, an additional factor that required careful consideration was completing works in an operational estate. Our deep understanding of the day to day needs of the estates’ operation, specifically, the traffic movement, was paramount in our successful delivery.

Working in seamless collaboration with the client-side project manager, Empire PM and the landlord Stocklands, the Hendra Industrial Estate was handed over as promised, on time and within budget.
