The project encompassed the construction of a new stage and staircase, the installation of an accessible lift to the mezzanine, bathroom upgrades, an expanded canteen with a grease trap, and motorised high-level windows for improved ventilation and light control. The refurbishment of the hall’s internal finishes has completely revitalised the space, creating a more functional and aesthetically pleasing environment.
By directly engaging with key suppliers, we optimised the layout of Supawood timber veneer ceiling panels and Acoufelt wall panels – key features of the design – ensuring minimal material wastage. This strategic approach not only maximised resource efficiency but also enhanced the overall cost-effectiveness of the project.
This transformation has significantly improved the hall’s functionality, aesthetics, and acoustics, benefiting the entire school community.
