Intermain took a focused approach to the project, with the goal of delivering the space in a short timeframe. They worked closely with Corval and Studio Nine Architects to ensure that the design and construction were aligned, and successfully completed the project within a 5-week program.
The project was not without its challenges. The walls in the meeting rooms were initially painted green, but this turned out to be an error in the drawings and they had to be repainted grey. Additionally, the design of the white timber slats in front of the glazing had to be worked through with the joiner and the architect. The original intent was for individual slats, but the joiner suggested making them out of one piece of MDF, which resulted in a much better outcome.
Through close collaboration with all stakeholders, Intermain was able to overcome these challenges and deliver a great workplace for a prospective tenant.
Off the back of this successful project, Intermain was awarded the fitout works for Level 8, which were also completed within a quick timeframe of only four weeks.
