A Workplace Fitout Right Next Door: ABGF’s New Office at 18 Oliver Lane

When the Australian Business Growth Fund (ABGF) decided to relocate to the third floor of 18 Oliver Lane, they didn’t have to look far for the perfect design and delivery partner – we were right downstairs. As their neighbours, we understood the importance of creating a workspace that not only met their needs but also embodied their values and vision.

Tailored Office Design for a Welcoming Experience

Drawing on insights from their previous workspace, ABGF sought to enhance their front-of-house experience. In response, our design team created a warm and inviting environment for visiting clients, with a dedicated business lounge wing featuring a bar, lounge, boardroom, and private bathroom amenities, all conveniently located off a private elevator.

At the heart of this sophisticated fitout lies a bright, oversized kitchen breakout, with a distinctly residential ambiance created through spectacular natural stone finishes, feature lighting, and a tiered, curved island bench. We designed a bespoke end-of-trip facility with a bike storage room within the tenancy, which has been a huge success with the client. Thoughtful elements like curved glass, archways, and detailed flooring soften the internal walkways and enhance the overall layout. We also focused on maximising natural light, integrating technology in meeting spaces for enhanced functionality, and addressing acoustic challenges through carefully chosen floor, wall, and window finishes.

Innovative Solutions for Efficient and Sustainable Delivery

Our proximity allowed us to work closely with ABGF, implementing innovative solutions that streamlined the fitout process while reducing environmental impact. Modular construction techniques were used to minimise on-site waste and improve build efficiency. The integration of prefabricated joinery components not only enhanced speed and precision but also ensured consistent craftsmanship. To further support our commitment to sustainability, advanced waste management systems were employed throughout the build, facilitating efficient sorting and recycling.

The successful completion of the ABGF office fitout is a testament to our ability to deliver exceptional design solutions that prioritise both client satisfaction and environmental responsibility.
