Innovative Solutions. Accountable Delivery.

Driven by delivering positive results, we’re on a journey to become one of Australia’s leading socially responsible builders. With a focus on diversity, responsibly sourced materials and carefully considered processes, our goal is to minimise our environmental impact while maximising our positive social impact.

What We Do

Our Journey

Intermain, established in 2001, is one of Australia’s leading companies providing refurbishment, fitout and manufacturing services. We exist to build environments that are not only good for our future but will thrive in the future; socially, sustainably and economically. Our journey has been paved by a diverse, dedicated, and passionate team united by innovative solutions and accountable delivery.

Our business is, and has always been, run with a three-pillar values system: integrity, quality, and customer-centric service.

Over the last twenty years, we’ve used this value system to provide professional and technical excellence to our clients to become an Australian leader in delivering environments for commercial, industrial, government, healthcare, and education sectors and Australian-made custom joinery.

The three value pillars are ingrained into all our daily processes, every person we employ, and each decision we make. Our team members embody these pillars, respecting and delivering them at every level, on every project.

Established in NSW, with offices nationally, we have teams on-the-ground in VIC and ACT. This allows our team of over 150 passionate professionals to become actively engaged in the communities we work in.

While our core three pillar values have never changed, we have added three more to them over the years: community, culture and sustainability.

We have a clear goal: to become Australia’s most respected and sustainable commercial builder. And we’re well on our way.

Australian-Made, Australian-Owned.

Our innovative manufacturing facility produces premium, Australian-made custom joinery and products. This gives our clients the opportunity to be part of a truly collaborative experience that they can’t access with offshore production.

Culturally Connected.

Intermain are corporate members with Supply Nation and working with Reconciliation Australia to support local initiatives and Indigenous-run businesses. We ensure that cultural understanding, sensitivity and celebration are a part of every project we take on.

Sustainable Solutions.

Our focus on and dedication to sustainability has led us to become one of Australia’s leading sustainable construction experts. We have an in-depth understanding of Green Star and NABERS accredited requirements and offer environmentally responsible, ethically sourced options wherever possible.

Community Minded.

Our current partnerships with The Alannah & Madeline Foundation and The ASX Refinitiv Charity Foundation offer us the opportunity to support Australians in need.

We also believe that everyone in Australia should have an even playing field. That is why Intermain is a major sponsor of the Western Sydney Wanderers Women’s League, and currently sponsors numerous Western Sydney University awards that encourage diversity in construction and education.

We rise by lifting others

We’re always on the lookout for talented, hardworking individuals to join our team. If you think you might have what it takes, please contact us.
