Global property group Goodman were excited to introduce a leading international distribution company to the Australian market and required an industrial fitout to suit their tenants distribution needs.

Goodman required a fitout delivery partner who was capable of working on a large scale industrial project while offering a high level of personalised customer service; after a successful tender process, Intermain were engaged for the job.

The project involved refurbishing two warehouses at 7 – 21 Centenary Avenue, equaling 40,000 square meters. The works required for the $27m project were extensive; it involved a complete building refurbishment, upgrading structural elements, mechanical services including a climate control HVAC insulation system, a hardstand and landscaping.

Other works included the new amenities, floor preparation, install of a communications facility, painting and external repairs, IT and security systems

Ensuring communication was constant and consistent with 100% transparency and delivering the project on time and budget was key to the project’s success. The original programme was planned over 8 months; however, Intermain exceeded the client’s expectations by delivering the works in 6 months.

The result was exceptional, with the warehouse described by the client’s senior international leaders as setting the company’s standard globally.
