Delivered for W Developments and SC Capital, the project builds on the success of previous upgrades, contributing to a cohesive and considered offering for prospective tenants within Parramatta’s growing CBD.
Value-driven refurbishment to enhance existing asset
Spanning 1,200sqm, the fitout was delivered under a D&C model within a 10-week programme. The approach centred on working with the existing tenancy, refining and elevating key elements to extend the life and performance of the space.
Workstations, joinery and ceiling systems were retained and adapted, alongside established rooms such as boardrooms and offices. This provided a strong base from which to enhance the overall experience, with targeted upgrades to breakout areas, amenities and arrival points. The outcome is a workplace that feels resolved and cohesive, with a clear continuity between existing and new.
Designed for flexibility and longevity
The design prioritises natural light and adopts a restrained, neutral palette, allowing the space to remain adaptable over time.
A balanced mix of open plan areas, enclosed rooms and informal meeting spaces supports a range of working styles without over-defining use. Sit-to-stand workstations are integrated throughout, while upgrades to shared spaces and amenities contribute to a consistent and contemporary environment.
Sustainability and adaptive reuse
Sustainability is embedded through a deliberate focus on adaptive reuse. Retaining significant portions of the existing fitout reduced material waste while maintaining a high standard of finish.
Targeted interventions, including LED lighting and sensor tap upgrades, improve operational efficiency and align the space with current workplace expectations.
The completion of Level 8 reinforces Intermain’s ongoing involvement at 2 Wentworth Street, contributing to a consistent quality across the building and supporting its position within Parramatta’s evolving office market.
