Intermain partnered with Kaya Health Club, one of Melbourne’s leading wellness and Pilates studios, to deliver a front-of-house and façade refresh that enhances the wellness experience from the moment members arrive.
The project involved refining the client’s architectural design package to align with budget parameters, applying value management principles to simplify construction details without compromising the studio’s sophisticated design intent.
Working within a tight, high-traffic environment, Intermain coordinated multiple trades around an active yoga and pilates schedule, ensuring that classes and client access continued uninterrupted. With much of the limited floor area occupied by scaffolding, careful sequencing and communication were essential. Noisy or high impact works were strategically programmed outside business hours to minimise disruption to staff and clientele and maintain the calm, restorative atmosphere that defines Kaya’s wellness experience.
