Jardan opens in Rosebery

Rather than waiting for the ‘Big Idea’, IF Architects saw the architectural question being, “How does Jardan define itself, and where does the brand sit within a local/national/international context?”

Looking at the lines of latitude and longitude – which historically offered explorers, navigators and sailors the freedom to roam the globe – the IF Architecture team drew on lines and meridian points throughout the Jardan interior. Within the space actual coordinates aim to define Jardan’s place in the world, here in Sydney and within our own lives. Whether you are in the Rosebery showroom, or in Hong Kong or Milan.

Formerly a showroom with little street presence, the project involved the reworking of parking area, ground and first floor showroom areas, a loading dock transformed into a display window and a new entrance. A total area of 698 square metres is now filled with natural light, with white detailing throughout – floors, walls and staircase – and a new open façade to the busy main street.
