Education Joinery | Macquarie University Library

Intermain was commissioned by Grindley Interiors to make a variety of complex joinery items designed by four different architects -Woods Bagot, Bennett & Trimble, NBRS & Partners and BNMH. Designed to correspond with the North, South, East and West wings of the library, each area covers 1,000 square metres and has a different aesthetic approach. The joinery items developed include meeting booths constructed as timber igloos, acrylic plywood work benches, magnetic whiteboard walls, kitchenettes, re-used timber desktops as meeting room walls and upholstered seating and studend lockers.
